In Your Presence · One-Minute Companion

This is the one-minute slice of today's morning companion: a verse and a step. If it helps, there's a quiet door to the full day below.

"Remain in me, as I remain in you. […] I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit." John 15:4-5
Reconnect, three times through the day

Today I ask one single habit of you: to reconnect. In the morning, before the phone pulls you in, pause for half a minute and say quietly: "Lord, I remain in You today. Without You I can do nothing." Then ask for nothing; just breathe ten breaths in His presence.

And through the day, at least three times, say in the late morning, around lunch, and in the afternoon, when the rush or the anxiety grips you, stop for the length of one sentence and return to the vine: "Here I am, I remain in You." If there is a burden that would tear you away, lay it down right there. You do not have to produce the perfect day. Only to stay on the One who bears fruit in you.
