This is the one-minute slice of today's morning companion: a verse and a step. If it helps, there's a quiet door to the full day below.
"All you who are thirsty, come to the water! You who have no money, come, receive grain and eat; come, without paying and without cost, drink wine and milk! Why spend your money for what is not bread, your wages for what fails to satisfy?" Isaiah 55:1-2
Before you do anything today, sit for five minutes in silence, and bring nothing. No prayer, no solution, only yourself. Let it simply be true that He is already here, looking at you.
Then take stock of the little you have today: a bit of time, a little strength, one attentive word. Place it, in your mind, into His hands: this is all I have. Let it be Yours. And before the day ends, give a crumb of it to someone whose morning is heavier than yours.
