This is the one-minute slice of today's morning companion: a verse and a step. If it helps, there's a quiet door to the full day below.
"If you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; nothing will be impossible for you." Matthew 17:20
Choose, right now, one single, very concrete thing you're grateful for. Don't stop at "everything"; give it a name, a face, a moment. A phone call from yesterday, the sound of a sleeping child breathing, a cup of hot coffee on the table.
Say quietly: "Lord, this is my mustard seed today. I'm not waiting for it to grow into a great faith; I'm only planting it, and trusting You to grow it." Then carry that one sentence with you into the first hard moment of the day.
