This is the one-minute slice of today's morning companion: a verse and a step. If it helps, there's a quiet door to the full day below.
„Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, and sister, and mother." Matthew 12:50 · today's Gospel
Choose one burden you brought with you this morning. A worry. An old guilt. A thought in which you feel alone. Say it quietly, in simple words: „Lord, I give this to you." Then slow down, and picture Micah's image before you. The burden slowly sinks beneath the water, out of your hand, into the depths of mercy. You do not have to reach after it again.
And if during the day the old voice returns, saying you are alone, do not argue with it. Just take a breath, and say quietly: „I belong to Christ." That is enough. A handhold you can carry with you into work, into a conversation, into a quiet hour.
